Join Jason Mordan, Senior Practitioner of Historic Buildings at Nottinghamshire County Council, for the next workshop in the series of hands-on heritage skills workshops.
This is a unique opportunity to learn traditional building techniques in timber sash window repair.
Discover the history of sash windows and traditional glassmaking plus explore how to overhaul and maintain timber-framed windows.
You’ll also have the chance to put your new skills into practice by contributing directly to the restoration of the historic station building.
These workshops are ideal for anyone who:
- Owns a property requiring traditional repairs
- Is training for a career in heritage or construction
- Manages or cares for a historic building
Thanks to support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, participation is completely free. Donations towards the ongoing restoration project are warmly welcomed.
